Privacy notice

Your details, kept simply

The person whose page you visited uses Meetle to remember the people they meet and follow up properly. Here’s what that means for you.

Who’s responsible

The person whose page you visited is the controller of your details under UK GDPR. Meetle is the tool they use to do it.

What Meetle stores

  • What you shared when you met: your name, LinkedIn profile, email, phone, company and role.
  • A short note of where and when you met, and anything you wrote in the “Stay in touch” form.
  • If you met in person, where and when they saved your details (their phone’s location at the time). It’s kept privately for them, never shared with anyone and never sent to the AI.
  • Professional information that’s already public: your role, company, company website, news, Companies House records, talks and articles, with a link to each source.
  • A summary and a 0–10 score of how relevant the connection is to their work.
  • Messages between you, on LinkedIn, by email or on WhatsApp. On WhatsApp only chats with people they’ve met are kept; nothing from anyone else is stored.

Never: Personal social media, family or home details, or anything sensitive such as health, religion or politics.

Why

Legitimate interest: a business follow-up with someone who chose to exchange details in person. Every message is one-to-one and approved by a person before it goes. No mailing lists, no bulk sends, and your details are never sold or shared for marketing.

Who helps

These services process your details only to make Meetle work:

  • Cloudflare for hosting, database, file storage and notification emails to the page owner
  • Anthropic for AI research, scoring and draft messages
  • Unipile for sending and reading LinkedIn messages
  • Google for sending and reading email through Gmail
  • WhatsApp for sending and reading WhatsApp messages from their own number

How long

As long as the connection is useful. Contacts that are closed or quiet for 24 months are flagged for deletion, and deleting a contact removes their notes, research, messages and files in one go.

Your rights

You can ask to see what’s held about you, correct it, object to it being used, or have it deleted. If you’re unhappy with how it’s handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Ask for your details to be deleted

The page owner will delete your contact record, notes, research and messages, and confirm by email or LinkedIn.
